This month comes with a little extra: A second Full Moon, known as a Blue Moon. Usually, there’s one Full Moon every month, but this month has two. This extra Full Moon is known as a Blue Moon. But there are actually two definitions of a Blue Moon.
The saying “once in a Blue Moon” suggests that this is something very rare, but is it really? Astronomy Journalist Anne Buckle explains in the video below.
